Mesotherapy is a technique that uses a variety of “cocktails” of vitamins, minerals, coenzymes, peptides, amino acids, and other revitalizing ingredients to treat various skin concerns such as pigmentation, aging, rosacea, redness, dull and uneven skin tone, and hair loss.
The technique involves directly introducing potent “cocktails” to deeper layers of the skin, as a result, the skin becomes radiant and healthy.
At First Ave Medical Spa we use the U225 injector gun to perform mesotherapy. This French-made injector is the most sophisticated mesotherapy injector currently available on the market. It is fully automatic, powered by pneumatic pressure generated by an air compressor. The U225 has two basic modes of function which allow continuous injection, intermittent injection a raffle and point-par-point. In the intermittent mode, the user can vary the injection frequency from 1 every 3 seconds to 300 per minute. This versatility can practically satisfy any technique.
Biorevitalization is a technique of injecting non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid to restore the skin’s natural radiance and volume. Non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid is a raw form of hyaluronic acid that is able break down easily spreading out in the dermis plumping the skin and softening the fine lines.
Hyaluronic acid fills the space between collagen and elastin fibers. The role of hyaluronic acid in the skin is to provide a mechanism of transport of essential nutrients from the bloodstream to living skin cells, hydrate the skin by holding in water and to contribute to dermis renewal and elimination of harmful compounds from the skin. When applied to the skin, hyaluronic acid forms a viscoelastic film, replicating its natural function of retaining water in the intercellular matrix of dermal connective tissues. This makes hyaluronic acid an ideal moisture base, facilitating the delivery of other agents to the skin. It is recommended for treating wrinkled, tired, sun-damaged and dried-out skin.
