Kate opened First Ave Medical Spa in 2008. Kate graduated from the First Medical University in Moscow, but she was always passionate about helping people to look and feel their best. After moving to Vancouver, she became a licensed medical aesthetician and has more than a decade of experience delivering revolutionary treatments that transform the lives of her patients.

He completed his medical training in South Africa. Before completing his residency, he developed an interest in the newly burgeoning field of aesthetic medicine and completed training courses in botox, dermal filler injections and aesthetic sclerotherapy.
He has maintained an interest in aesthetic medicine alongside his regular medical practice. He has been working out of Abby Medical Laser Centre since 2005. He has completed training courses in lasers, skin science and advanced neurotoxin and dermal filler injections.
He continues to regularly attend advanced training courses and workshops on all aspects on aesthetic medicine. Several skin conditions in women have a basis in hormonal disturbances and our clinic is in a fortunate position to benefit from his knowledge in this area. Being a gynecologist, he is also very knowledgeable in the area of vaginal laser and radiofrequency procedures for laxity, incontinence, vaginal dryness and injectables for orgasmic dysfunction.
He is a member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (CAAM). He also injects out of First Avenue Medical Spa.
He initially worked in acute medical care wards until he had an opportunity to develop his skills in the field he has come to love most – aesthetic medicine.
He has been working in this field since 2005 at Abby Medical Laser Centre. He has completed multiple advanced level training courses in aesthetic medical practice including lasers, skin care science, botox and dermal fillers. He has completed several advanced hands-on training courses with leading experts in the field including Dr Arthur Swift.
He is currently a sought-after injector who regularly teaches and preceptors nurses and physicians in dermal filler injection techniques. He is regarded as a skilled lip filler injector. His personal philosophy is “Injecting well requires a strong basis in science - which can be taught but also an openness to artistic expression - which is acquired.
He is an active member of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Specialty Nurses (CSASN). He also injects out of First Avenue Medical Spa.
