Venus Viva™ Skin Resurfacing

Reduce the appearance of skin imperfections and improve your skin’s overall texture with Venus Viva™. Using NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) and SmartScan™ technology, Venus Viva™ is able to target and reduce common skin texture concerns, such as scars, deep wrinkles, stretch marks, enlarged pores, and more. It works by creating micro-dermal wounds that prompt the body to heal the skin’s surface naturally, which improves the overall appearance and texture of your skin.

Venus Viva™ skin resurfacing treatments at First Ave. Medical Spa require little to no downtime, are safe for all skin tones, and are quick enough to schedule into your lunch hour, with the average session taking less than 30 minutes to complete. Treatment plans vary for each client, averaging between three and four sessions, spread four to six weeks apart.

Venus Viva uses NanoFractional Radio Frequency and SmartScan technology to deliver energy through the pridermis to the dermis, generating heat, while stimulating fibroblasts and rebuilding collagen. The results are tighter skin, improved skin texture, reduced scarring, and more in a safe and effective.

Venus Viva™ works with tiny pins that safely deliver heat (via NanoFractional RF™) through the skin’s surface. This creates tiny micro-dermal wounds, which the body then works to heal naturally. This process is what repairs signs of skin damage seen on the surface of the skin. And because the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than lasers or chemical peels. The result is smoother, healthier skin with minimal downtime.

Yes, but only for 24 hours post-treatment (or up to 5 days for more aggressive treatments), unlike lasers or other treatments where recovery or downtime lasts up to 10 days. Your skin will be red and for the first 24 hours, you will not be allowed to apply or rub anything on your skin, including water or sweat (so no hot yoga or any other exercise that will make you perspire). After 24 hours, you may put on makeup and resume your regular skin care routine. You should apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30), preferably one without chemicals. But avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.

The ideal candidate is anyone who shows signs of skin damage, including deep wrinkles, scars, visible pores, stretch marks, and/or anything else that affects the skin’s texture.
